Weekly State House Report

June 26, 2017

I want you to be aware that the SCDOT Commission has approved a ten year plan for using the gradual increase of new revenue from Act 40, the roads bill.  The graphics below show an overview of how the new revenue will be spent, as well as the new targets for improving pavement conditions; I hope this information will be beneficial:

*above chart shows funding increases since Act 98 in 2013

 

*VMT in the above chart stands for Vehicle Miles Traveled, which is the percentage of traffic carried by that part of the road system.
