Welcome
to EddieTallon.com.
Please let me introduce myself. I am Eddie
Tallon, and I am running for the House District 33 seat being vacated by
Lanny Littlejohn. House District 33 includes the east side of
Spartanburg County and part of western Cherokee County.
As your candidate for House District 33, I need your
help and your support. Before I can ask for your vote, I want you to know as
much as possible about me, my background and my values. I am providing a great deal
of information via this website, but if I have left out anything of if you have any
questions, please contact me at any time.
In brief, I am a native South Carolinian,
and I have lived in Spartanburg County for 32 years. My wife and I
have raised our family here.
I am a conservative Republican who will look for
opportunities to reduce government, limit spending, promote strong families, and defend
our traditional values.
My professional background has been in law
enforcement. I worked for the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division
(SLED) part-time while I was in college, and after graduation, I continued in law
enforcement with both the Florence County Sheriff's Office and SLED.
After retiring from law enforcement in 1991, I
entered the private sector accepting a position with Ryan's Restaurant Group
as Vice President for Internal Audit and Loss Prevention. Among other things, I
developed and implemented some very successful loss prevention procedures that led to the
reduction of robberies and burglaries by 95% and reduced cash shortages by 37% in only a
three year period.
My goal is to meet as many of you as possible during

district—your home and mine. If you elect me to represent you, I vow to work
tirelessly to further our values and to keep District 33 a safe, wonderful place to live
and prosper.
